Thank you to everyone who supported the 2nd Annual ROCKtoberfest at UTC in support of local children, teens, and adults with special needs! This event was organized in partnership by Benderson Development, iHeart Radio and Suncoast Charities for Children. 

 

Thanks to the generosity of those who attended the event, as well as the bands who came together in support of the charity, this event raised over $4,500.00! This event could not have been possible without the 7 rockin’ bands: Downsyde Up (The Green), KJB (Ford’s Garage), Jack’D Up (PopStroke), Nauti Girl Band (Florence & The Spice Boys), The Phil Harmonica Band (Anna Maria Oyster Bar), Blasters SRQ (Oak & Stone), and Rear View Mirror (Origin). 

 

We would like to give a special thank you to Downsyde Up, who made a donation of $1,300.00. Downsyde Up first became involved with Suncoast Charities for Children when they performed at the 27th Annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival. After learning more about the charity and the agencies supported, Downsyde Up sold $1.00 bracelets at each of their shows and donated the proceeds to Suncoast Charities for Children!

 

We would also like to thank The Phil Harmonica Band for generously donating their band fee back to the charity!
