We Put the Fun Into Fundraising

People like to have fun. They also like to know that they can make a real difference in their community. That’s where Suncoast Charities for Children comes in.

The primary source of revenue for our mission comes from various local festivals and events held throughout the year. Each one provides plenty of opportunities for fun with a focus on giving back. A special “thank you” goes out to all of our generous sponsors, donors and event attendees. With your help, children, teens and adults with special needs in our community have access to the resources, support and services they deserve to live fuller, happier lives.

Bonefish Grill Charity Give Back Day

Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 29 and join us for a special Give Back Night at Bonefish Grill – Sarasota University Parkway!

When you dine at 8101 Cooper Creek Boulevard and show the event flyer, 15% of net sales will be donated to Suncoast Charities for Children.

Enjoy dinner, bring your family and friends, and make your meal count toward making a difference for local children, teens, and adults with special needs.

Month Of September

During the entire month of September, you can support Suncoast Charities by dining at any of the 1905 Family of Restaurants locations where 5% of all guest checks will be donated back to the charity of your choice at no additional cost. We are extremely grateful to the Gonzmart Family for selecting, once again, to participate in this annual promotion. Over the past 28 years, more than $4.8 million have been donated back to Florida non-profits.

ROCKtoberfest at UTC

Saturday, October 3, 2026 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm

7 bands, 7 venues, 1 epic night of music.

This live music event, held in partnership with iHeart Radio and Benderson Development, will feature seven of the area’s best bands jamming out at seven locations around the UTC District. Stop by The Green first for your all-access pass to receive special offers at each participating location.

Art for Abilities

Thursday, November 19, 2026 | 5:30pm Cocktail Hour, 6:30pm Dinner, Entertainment, and Auction

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the power of art and community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Suncoast Charities, designated towards The Haven’s art programs, helping empower children, teens, an adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through creative expression.

Heritage Cares Charity Golf Scramble & Silent Auction

Sunday, November 22, 2026 at TPC Prestancia | Registration 8:30am Shotgun Start 10:00am

The 4th Annual Heritage Cares Charity Golf Scramble at TPC Prestancia brings golfers together for a fun day on the course while making a meaningful impact in the community. The scramble features 18 holes of golf, on-course contests, player gift bags, an awards luncheon, and a silent auction. The weekend of giving begins Friday, November 20 with the Heritage Cares Charity Wine Tasting, followed by the Racquet Festival on Saturday, November 21, featuring both tennis and pickleball.

TPC Prestancia members and non-members are invited to take part throughout the weekend, with funds raised benefiting both Suncoast Charities for Children and the Heritage Cares Foundation.

Holiday Boat Parade of Lights

This event is produced in partnership with Marina Jack each December and features beautifully decorated boats for the holiday season on Sarasota Bay. Spectators are encouraged to donate an unwrapped toy or book.

Thunder By The Bay Music & Motors Festival

Music & Motors Festival – February 19 – 21, 2027

Sporting Clay Tournament – February 5, 2027

Rev the engines and raise those funds! This iconic Festival features a Sporting Clay Tournament, “Taste of Thunder” and a three-day Festival at the Sarasota Fairgrounds featuring continuous live music, over 100 vendors, bike and car shows, motorcycle charity ride, on-site camping, and much more for the entire family to enjoy! It is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Suncoast Charities for Children. Over the past 27 years, the Festival has raised over $3 Million for charity.
