Suncoast Charities for Children will designate this grant to Children First, Inc.’s “Full Tummies- Flourishing Minds” program which helps feed at-risk preschool children, 81% of which come from families living below the federal poverty level. This grant will provide 2,000 meals for at-risk preschool children. Not only will these children receive meals, but at Children First, each classroom also engages in hands-on national literacy activities that teach age-appropriate nutrition lessons and provide experiential activities.
