Walmart believes that strengthening local communities creates value for business as well as society and we are extremely grateful to have been chosen as the recipient for not one, but three Spark Good Local Grants this past year! We would like to thank store #7298 located at Palmer Crossing Cir. for their $2,000 grant donation, store #769 located in Venice for their $1,000 grant donation, and store number #2392 located on Bee Ridge Rd. for their $1,000 grant donation.
These combined donations will provide meals and snacks to local preschool children who come from working families living below the federal poverty level. As well as insure that these children receive proper nourishment, which encourages physical, social and emotional growth, and empowers them to reach their full potential.
